About Timothy Pinckard
I have been using a camera for more than 60 years. I first picked up a camera during high school, spending the weekends taking pictures with a viewfinder camera, developing the film in a makeshift darkroom and sending them off to editors of company magazines.
I have had the privilege to serve as ships photographer on the USS Skate during its trips under the ice and as document and product photographer for Redington Counters, Inc. Both were not my primary jobs, but very enjoyable.
Now that I am retired, for the last 13 years, I have been spending my time traveling the USA with my wife in a 35-foot fifth-wheel camper, photographing interesting places, people, and scenery, that I saw and met along the way. I have finally put down roots in Mount Pleasant, SC with my wife to enjoy our daughter and grandkids nearby and to continue my photographic journey. We will still travel, after all, we have to get daughter and grandkid fixes on the west coast too.
I hope you enjoy my photographs and please let me know what you think.
